Instructions
- Pour the distilled water and white vinegar into your spray bottle using a funnel if necessary.
- Add the olive oil and liquid castile soap to the mixture to act as the binding agents and polishers.
- Carefully drop in your essential oils for a fresh, clean scent and natural antimicrobial properties.
- Close the bottle tightly and shake vigorously to ensure the oil and water are well emulsified.
- Lightly mist a clean microfiber cloth with the solution rather than spraying the furniture directly.
- Wipe the dusty surface in a circular motion, then use a dry section of the cloth to buff the area to a high shine.
Tips
- Always shake the bottle before every spray as the oil will naturally separate from the water.
- Use distilled water instead of tap water to prevent mineral streaks and bacteria growth in the bottle.
- Test the solution on a small, inconspicuous area of antique furniture before applying to the whole piece.
